Daisy~ Do Hanging Pocket

I know, I am slow..and late in stitching Jenny’s Daisies. But I managed to stitch three blocks and made them into a hanging pocket for the rulers I bought when I was in Melbourne.

That’s Benjoe, my sweetheart , checking it out!

The bottom pocket holds the 6” x 6”, the centre pocket holds the 6” x 12” and the top pocket holds the 6” x 24” rulers. I didn’t have a pattern. Just worked it out as I went along.

Flower Power

Last week,  Khris of  Sew Prim Khris  and  Freebies For Crafters made it to Homespun!  Have you seen the flowers Khris made?! She put together the Flower Power Sewing  Accesories . Without hesitation, I ‘jumped across and grabbed the instructions’.

image I already made myself a gorgeous pincushion caddy and fabric basket for my sewing room…..

…here is block #2

DSCN2323   I chose not to use buttons. Instead, I used the trusty satin stitch and stem stitch.

Happy Stitching !
