Feather n Fan and Ravelry

IMG_0370[1]

This is a four row pattern. Very easy. Loving the lacy look of it!  Got the pattern via Ravelry.

Back to my knitting !

I Got Bitten by the Knitting Bug !

When I knit,  I like  to pull the end of the ball from the center as it keeps the ball neater.

Have you ever had problem getting the end out? I tried both sides but it just won’t budge!  This ball of yarn is very compact… I had a hard time even to put in my fingers!

In the end , I just rip out the paper and start knitting .

I combined some stitches from different projects and came up with this. Not done with it yet. I think I will add some lacy edging. What do you think?

I love this yarn. Lives up to its name…Smoothie.

For beginner knitters, I recommend  textured yarn. It’s all garter stitch here. Good practice for your knit stitch!

I love this. The yarn is so smooth and silky. It’s Razzle Textures.

Looks like seaweed, eh? It’s actually a darker shade than in this photo.

Psst , if you like my pink scarf, I’ll e-mail you the pattern.

There…Done..Finally !

DSCN2119
Finally!!! After months of hibernation (no..not me! … the sweater !), finished where I left off.
In a hurry to blog about this, so have not washed and shaped it properly yet. But I think it looks good!

By the way, do you call this a sweater, cardigan or jacket? It opens in front but there are no buttons .image Maybe a sweater jacket?!

P.S  Will post better photos next time .Tongue out

This and That and…Ooops !

Have been busy busy…organizing my fabric stash, sewing notions( I didn’t know I had so many zippers!), this and that and then…..

DSCN2106
…I remembered this….
Ooops !
Finished this long time ago. But yet to finalize it!
Isn’t the big cables… BIG ?
Smile
 DSCN2101
Those cables belong to this. All I need to do is set in the sleeves and do up the sides. That ain’t too difficult is it ?
But I have had them sitting or rather sleeping in the cupboard. It was supposed to be for my trip to Canada last year end, which did not happen :(
(That should explain why it is still in this state …)

Anyway, it’s now lying on the guest bed as a reminder for me to get it done.
(…and perhaps an excuse to go somewhere this year end !)

And now … a little peek into what I have been doing….

….till then :)

Cable scarf and rib edged cap. No,the gloves is store bought.
(It was very cold!)
